Full disclaimer, I have been making mugs almost exclusively this year and had not tried a bowl since Christmas 2020. It was also the first time I took a video of myself throwing!
I was pleasantly surprised how useful it was to watch myself and think critically about what I did wrong–spoiler: this was a failed attempt. Going back and forth in the video to see exactly what I’d done will be invaluable to not repeat the same mistakes.
